FROM MRS. VICE
Dear Parents and Guardians,

I am sure many of you heard/read/watched reports about the events at the March for Life and the Indigenous Peoples March involving Covington Catholic High School students. Initial reports had the internet buzzing with negative commentary regarding the students, the school and Catholics in general. As more details emerge, we are learning that the accuracy of initial reports is in question. Regardless of the outcome, which we all hope leads to education and peace, it is critical for all students to remember they are the very best symbol of their Faith. We tell O'Hara students constantly when they are outside of school that they are expected to represent the school, the Faith, and most importantly, themselves in the best possible light. As Catholics, we believe that God lives within us and that His Light will shine through when faced with great challenge. We will continue to hold our students to high expectations and know our parents will as well.

Thank you to our students and moderators who understood the magnitude of the March for Life and behaved appropriately. I say all the time that O'Hara students make us proud every day, and I know they will continue to do so. God Bless all our Lions!

Have a nice rest of your week!
