Cardinal O’Hara proudly holds 194 Philadelphia Catholic League Titles and 53 District 12 Titles. Our Girls’ Tennis team has won the PCL Title for the last 5 years.
Last year District 12 Titles were won in Field Hockey, Girls’ Basketball, and both Boys’ and Girls’ Lacrosse. Additionally, our Ice Hockey and Rugby club teams won their respective league championships.
The Saint John Paul II Ministry Center provides students with unique opportunities to grow their Catholic identity and work together to serve others
435 Community Service Corps members put “faith into action through service” in more than 100 projects and events in the Philadelphia area.
We cut the ribbon on our state of the art media center featuring the WCOH television studio, video & radio production, and fully equipped Mac lab. We also commenced phase I of our 21st century science labs.

Award winning theatre program
The O’Hara Marching Band performed in the Philadelphia St. Patrick’s Day parade and the Concert Band played at the Temple concert band festival.
The Color Guard was awarded a silver medal at their regional tournament. Seven choir members were selected for the All Catholic Choir, and three band members for the All Catholic Band.

Our Dual Enrollment program with Neumann University, exposes students to college level
courses taught by Neumann professors, right on our campus.
In 2019, 484 students participated in the Danny Hammond Dance Marathon, raising thousands of dollars for pediatric cancer research.
80% of students participate in extra-curricular activities
58% of students participate on our 38 sport teams. Last year 75 O’Hara student athletes received All-Catholic recognition.
