Cardinal O'Hara High School Partners With Neumann University

Cardinal O'Hara High School is pleased to announce their partnership with Neumann University. Beginning Fall of 2019, O'Hara will be offering two 3 college credit introduction courses taught by a professor from Neumann University. The classes will be taught at Cardinal O'Hara.
The courses are Introduction to Philosophy and Effective Public Speaking. The courses will first be offered to seniors only. Once seniors have enrolled and if there is still availability, juniors will be able to enroll as well. The cost to take these college courses is the cost of the books only. Students have the opportunity to earn 12 college credits per school year. The credits will be transferable when students graduate and begin their college education.
O'Hara is also working with Neumann University to launch the Charlotte Drummond Media Center which will be home to the new WCOH television studios along with a 36-student Mac lab, radio production studios, innovative learning spaces and student collaboration work stations.
