How to Apply

 

STEP 1: Complete the Application for Admission

STEP 2: Request for Academic Records

The following documents are needed in order for your child’s application to become complete, and for the review process to begin:

  • Academic Records (most updated current year and full report cards 6th and 7th grade academic years)
  • All Conduct and Attendance Records
  • Most recent Standardized Test Scores (i.e. PSSA, Terra Nova, IOWA, SSAT, PSAT, etc.)
  • If applicable: IEP including evaluation and reevaluation report; 504 plan

 

Download the Request for Release of Records. Complete the form and submit it to your child’s current school principal/guidance office so they can send us your child's records directly.

 

OR

 

If your child's school has already provided you with official academic records and standardized test scores for your child, you can submit them online through your Cardinal O’Hara admissions portal. Click here to log in to your portal!

 

 

STEP 3: Shadow a Cardinal O'Hara Student 

There is no better way to learn about O'Hara than becoming a LION FOR A DAY! To schedule a shadow day* login to your School Admin portal and register via the checklist item. 

*Please note - student must have an application on file in School Admin to shadow. 

 

 

STEP 4: Learn about Tuition and Financial Aid

Cardinal O'Hara High School remains committed to providing financial support for students who seek an O'Hara education. Click the link below to view our current tuition forecast and payment options, along with information regarding applying for financial aid using the FACTS application!  **Please note that financial aid will only be awarded to students who are currently enrolled or have been accepted to O'Hara for the upcoming school year and have also completed the FACTS application.**

STEP 5: Acceptance and Registration

A decision letter will be mailed to each applicant after review of his/her records by mid-December. After the first round of letters are released, application review will continue on a rolling basis for the remainder of the year.

Ready to make it official? You can register your child to attend Cardinal O’Hara by submitting the registration requirements in your Cardinal O’Hara enrollment portal.
