There will be a yearbook meeting on Wednesday after 8th period in Rm. 329. Assignments will be given out.
Seniors will vote for the homecoming king and queen on Thursday. Pictures are on display in the senior breezeway. Ballots will be sent to the homerooms on Thursday.

Please consider helping at our Emmaus Home Fundraiser! When: Saturday, October 25th Time: 7:00 pm- 9:30 pm Where: Ivy Hall Mansion 6331 Lancaster Avenue Philadelphia, PA Dress: semi-formal. Featuring Catholic band Paging Samuel. We need help with selling raffles, and welcoming guests
Volunteers for Needed bingo party on Saturday, November 1 from 12:00 5:00.
Responsibilities would include socializing, cooking basic food, serving food, taking orders, and helping those with difficulties. The event is held at Overbrook school for the blind lions hall 1900 Wynnewood Road, Philadelphia 19151.

The Fashion Show sign ups are available under the "News" section of the website. Seniors are encouraged to sign up ASAP!
Failure warnings must be signed and returned to the Academic Affairs Office by this week.
Winter Dress code:
The official winter dress code will begin on October 29. Please use this time to have your uniform prepared.
When it's not spirit week remember that Sweatshirts, hoodies, zip/track jackets are not permissible and may be confiscated if they are worn. Crew socks are also NOT a part of our uniform. All ladies should be wearing knee socks.
Official OHara Locks
All students should be using an official OHara lock on their locker.
Lockers without locks will be bolted and students will purchase a New Lock. The replacement cost of the lock is $10.
Locks are for your own security of your belongings.
Saturday detention will be held this week. All of those invited should arrive promptly at 9am in school uniform. The cost is $5. All signed letters should be returned by Thursday 10/23.
Students are reminded that you must remain in the cafeteria during your lunch periods unless you have a call slip or permission to leave.
You lunch proctor should be told when you are using the landing bathrooms. Leaving the cafeteria without permission is considered out of bounds.
The Lost and Found is located in Student Services. There is presently a number of text books. Please check student services of you are missing any texts.
Homecoming Dance tickets are on sale in the Student Affairs Office for $10.00 each. Students may bring a guest, but the students MUST have a Homecoming Guest Form completed before the dance. O'Hara students may purchase tickets at the door.
The Bonfire and Pep Rally is at 7:00 p.m. on Friday night. The pep rally is set to be FUN! All Fall Athletes are expected to arrive in the cafeteria no later than 6:30 p.m.
Sophomore Dance tickets are on sale and forms are available in the Student Affairs Office. The Sophomore Dance is date-optional, which means that you may come alone or with a date of the opposite sex.
Any student interested in Mock Trial, please sign up in the Student Affairs Office with your name and email address. Next meeting is on Monday, October 27th from 2:45-4:45 p.m.
Please announce that there will be a meeting for all RETURNING Hi Q members tomorrow, October 22 after school in room 250. This meeting is for returning members only.
