How to Give

Annual Giving Societies

Depending on donation sizes, donors have the opportunity to be a part of our tiered Annual Fund Giving Societies.

Giving Society tiers include:

President's Circle: $10,000+
Pride of the Lion: $5,000 - $9,999
Red and Blue Club: $ 1,000 - $4,999
Young Alumni COHS Club: $1,000 - $1,499 (Must have graduated within the last 14 years)
Lion Supporter: Up to $999

Make a donation to the O'Hara Fund

A planned gift is your legacy contribution to Cardinal O’Hara that will help ensure the future of the school. This type of gift is usually made as part of your estate planning in the form of a bequest in your will. It allows you to make a significant gift without costing you anything in your lifetime, while also lessening the burden of estate taxes on your family. Bequests can be made as unrestricted donations or have a specific purposes at the school. Indicate that you would like either a specific amount or a percentage of your estate to comprise your gift. We encourage all to report their planned gift to The Bishop McFadden Society so we can honor their generosity.

A planned gift is not limited to a bequest in your will. You can also make a planned gift through an IRA or other retirement planning fund, life insurance, stocks and investments, or other financial planning vehicles. Individuals should consult with their financial planner prior to making this decision. Please talk to your financial planner about which approach makes the most sense for you and your family. Sports Venue Sponsorships

Stadium Banner

Advertise your business with a customized 8' L x 3.5' H banner that will be featured prominently around the perimeter of the facility. These colored banners are made from a durable mesh material that will withstand even the harshest of weather conditions. The cost is $1,500 to advertise around our stadium for the first year, followed by an additional $1,000 the following year. Design changes after the first year will result in an additional fee.

Gym Banner

Advertise your business with a customized 10' L x 3' H banner that will be featured prominently in our gymnasium. These colored vinyl banners are strategically placed in the gym for maximum visibility. The cost is $1,500 to advertise in our gym for the first year, followed by an additional $1,000 the following year. Design changes after the first year will result in an additional fee.

EITC and OSTC

The Pennsylvania Education Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) and Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit (OSTC) programs allow individuals and businesses to redirect their Pennsylvania taxes into a gift to Cardinal O'Hara to be used for financial aid.

Memorial Gifts

A gift in memory of someone you love or admire can be a particularly meaningful way to contribute to Cardinal O'Hara High School. A memorial gift may be made to The O'Hara Fund or as a capital gift and may be restricted or unrestricted.
