The Office for Student Services looks forward to a wonderful 2024-25 school year! Cardinal O’Hara High School strives to develop graduates of character, competence, and confidence who are prepared to lead in this world and live forever in the next. Having a healthy, safe, and secure environment daily plays an important part in such development.

A few key components for a successful year:
  1. Be present and on time.
  2. Be prepared with learning materials and in the correct uniform pieces.
  3. Respect God, others, the environment, and self.
  4. Be respectful of the handbook policies especially:
    1. Phone policy
    2. Acceptable use policy
    3. Uniform policy

Important Reminders

  • Students are expected to be on time, and in complete school dress code.
  • Students must remain in the cafeteria before school until the 7:40 bell rings.
  • Students arriving after the late warning bell are to enter through the East Entrance until 8:30 AM. After 8:30 AM, they are to enter through the Main Entrance.
  • Uniform information is located on the side of this page.
  • Returning students should bring their O’Hara-issued locks on the first day of school. For safety and security, only O’Hara-issued locks are to be used.
  • Freshmen and Transfer students will receive a school-issued lock.
  • Students will receive locker assignments during homeroom on the first day of school.
  • Lockers should be used.
  • All phones should be placed in their lockers, and may not be carried.
  • Phones will be confiscated if they are seen by any teacher, staff, or administrator. 
  • Students are required to complete Emergency information online before returning to school in September.
  • All vehicles on campus must be registered. You may complete the registration form located on the side of this page.
  • The Student Services Office is located in Room 150.
  • The Detention Room is Room 147.
  • The Bag Room is located in Room 149.
