Charitable gift planning, also called planned giving, means making a charitable gift of estate assets to one or more nonprofit organizations like Cardinal O’Hara. Through a planned gift, all members of the O’Hara family—alumni, parents, parents of alumni, and friends—have the opportunity to make a substantial gift that is arranged now and paid later. By naming O’Hara in your will or trust you will provide a lasting gift that will greatly help O’Hara and our students.
Confirmation of Cardinal O’Hara High School as a beneficiary in your will enrolls you as a member of the Bishop Joseph P. McFadden Planned Giving Society. All commitments made prior to June 30, 2016 will result in the donor being recognized as a Founding Member.
The late Bishop McFadden served as the first president of Cardinal O’Hara High School and led the school through a time of renewal. At the time of his death Bishop McFadden was serving as the tenth bishop of the diocese of Harrisburg and as chairman of the U.S. Bishop’s Committee on Catholic Education. A vibrant Catholic School system and a vibrant Cardinal O’Hara was his dream.
If you have already made a planned gift to Cardinal O’Hara, we would like to know of your generous support and add you to the Bishop Joseph P. McFadden Planned Giving Society. Please contact Jennifer Tuberosa, Director of Institutional Advancement, at 610.544.3800 x1881 or email@example.com
to discuss the terms and intent of your planned gift or to learn more about planned giving.
