Our fourth annual Day of Giving
, a 24-hour fundraising challenge in support of the O'Hara Fund, will run on Wednesday, May 9. All gifts made on May 9, 2018 between 12:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. will count toward O'Hara's Day of Giving. Your donation, no matter the size, makes a huge impact on the lives of our students, and helps us continue to develop students of character, competence and confidence.
Why do we need to have an O'Hara Fund? Isn’t tuition enough?
Most private and parochial schools charge less in tuition than the actual cost of running the school with the anticipation that fundraising will bridge the gap. At O'Hara, the actual cost of educating each student is thousands of dollars more than the tuition charged. O'Hara provides our students with an outstanding education while at the same time keeping tuition considerably lower than area private schools.
The O'Hara Fund provides additional dollars to our operational budget that enriches and enhances our program beyond what is possible by tuition dollars alone. We invite and encourage each member of our community (parents, board members, staff/faculty, alumni, grandparents, friends, businesses, etc.) to generously support the O'Hara Fund.
Help Us Reach Our Goal!
Reaching our financial goal takes everyone’s involvement. That means everyone is invited to participate at some level of giving. Please remember that all O'Hara Fund donations are fully tax deductible.

Do matching gifts count toward O'Hara's Day of Giving goal and match?
Yes. If you give $100 on Wednesday and your employer matches your gift with $100, you just contributed $200 toward our goal.
