O'Hara Band Plays for the Pope, The Wildcats and The Phillies
When there is something to celebrate in the Philadelphia area, the O’Hara Marching Band is usually there. They were on the tarmac at the Philadelphia International Airport when Pope Francis departed for Rome after his time here for The World Meeting of Families. They were seen on the Ben Franklin Parkway during the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and more recently on Market Street with the Villanova Wildcats for the NCAA Championship parade. On April 11, they led the Phillies into Citizen’s Bank Park for their home opener, a tradition they began and have continued since 2004 when the park opened.
