Theater
Cardinal O’Hara has a great tradition of live theater for many years. The theater program welcomes all students interested in performing arts, whether you are just stepping on the stage for the first time or you have been involved with performing arts for many years. Each year, students perform two productions, one in the fall and one in the spring.
By participating in the performing arts at Cardinal O’Hara, whether on stage or behind the scenes, students build confidence, strengthen their performance skills, and expand their creativity. They also make countless lifelong memories on and off the stage that positively impact their high school journey.
Students interested in performing arts but who prefer to be behind the scenes are encouraged to get involved with costumes, make up or join stage crew.
Meet the Production Team
Valentina Raffaelli is Cardinal O'Hara's vocal teacher, choir, and theater director. She has 10 years of experience music directing and over 15 years performing in plays, musicals and live music. Ms. Raffaelli holds a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Bologna, a BA in Vocal Performance from University of the Arts, and is currently completing a master's degree in Vocal Pedagogy from Rider University.
