Dear Cardinal O’Hara Community,
The preparations for the upcoming school year are coming to a close and we are excited for this academic year. We cannot wait to have our lions back in the den! Before we give you an update on the roster process, we want to acknowledge our teachers. Creating the perfect roster for your child takes a lot of planning, preparation, perspiration, creativity and compromise. We are so grateful for the faculty for the care and flexibility they have shown. They truly care deeply about your child and it shows! Thank you, faculty!
For Students- Freshmen will receive laptops over the next two weeks. Your PowerSchool log in information will be given to you at that time. We are looking forward to seeing so many of you at Enrichment Camp this week! If you have any questions or concerns about your schedule, please inform Ms. Parker and she will help you resolve any issues.
Please continue to check PowerSchool for updates to your roster. We are still updating teacher information and room assignments. The most up to date roster is always available on PowerSchool. We will be reviewing all the senior transcripts this week to make sure that each senior is scheduled for the necessary credits they need to graduate.
For Parents- You now have access to your child’s schedule for the upcoming school year. The right roster is an essential part of your child’s academic success. If you have any questions or concerns, please email Mr. Youngblood at firstname.lastname@example.org. Special thanks to Mr. Youngblood for all his efforts and enthusiasm!!
Another key component to your child’s success is your involvement in their academic journey. PowerSchool is our way of communicating your child’s daily, weekly, and quarterly progress. It is vital that you are aware of their progress at all times. Please be sure that you are signed in to PowerSchool and enable either daily or weekly notifications. If you are having difficulties logging in, please contact the academic office.
Watching your children grow both spiritually and academically is an enormous privilege and joy. Every year they surprise us as their inner greatness comes to the surface in different ways and at different times. We cannot wait to see how they will shine this year!
One final word- Prayer. We don’t need to tell you that this life can be hard and challenging, but we are not alone! Our theme for this year, “Be True to Your School,” reminds us that we are all in this together. We have each other along with heaven to support and strengthen us. We ask that you pray very specifically and intentionally every day for all our students, our entire faculty and staff and all of our parents. Your prayers are part of God’s plan for this year!
