Message from Mrs. Casey
Dear Cardinal O'Hara Family,
A Prayerful Holy Week!! Spend time at church services and share your faith with your community.
A reminder that school will close at the end of the day today. We will not have any events or practices taking place on Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday or Easter Sunday. Enjoy the time with prayer, family and friends.
Student Highlights for the Week:
The National Latin Exam, sponsored by the American Classical League and the National Junior Classical League, is a 40-question, multiple-choice test with a time limit of 45 minutes, offered to students from around the world on seven levels. Our Latin students here at Cardinal O'Hara High School took this exam at two of these levels in March. It is our honor to congratulate 52 of our Latin students who scored above the national average and received recognition for their work on the National Latin Exam. In addition, two of our students, Patrick Burns and Dora Tomko, received a perfect score on their respective exams. We are proud of all of our students for their accomplishments on the 2019 National Latin Exam. Way to go!
Classes will resume on Tuesday, April 23rd
Happy Easter,
Mrs. Diane Casey

Attention Senior Parents!
We are having a raffle for 2 free Senior Prom tickets. The drawing will be on April 23rd.
All your student has to do is hand in all the college scholarship award letters that they received from ANY and ALL colleges they applied to, regardless of whether they are going there or not. They need to hand them in to the Counseling Center by April16th.
This is very important because their scholarships will be listed in the Graduation Booklet and we want their wonderful achievements to be recognized.
Attention Seniors!
Seniors Only – Please bring your gently used O’Hara sweater to the Student Services Office for a chance to win a $50 Visa gift card.  You will receive a chance for each sweater handed in.  We will not accept sweaters with holes, rips, or large stains.
Sweaters must be handed in by homeroom on Friday, May 5 and the winner will be announced that afternoon.
We would also appreciate any extra ties or belts you would like to donate.
Finance Office
If you have not yet submitted a financial aid application in FACTS for the 2019-2020 school year, please do so ASAP. We cannot give financial aid or post aid to your FACTS account unless you have submitted a financial aid app and uploaded your tax returns for verification.
Also, if you have not submitted tax documentation for the 2018-2019 school year, some aid may not be completely awarded. PLEASE log into your FACTS account and check the financial aid application section!
If your payments for the 2018-2019 school year were successfully debited each month via auto pay, you will receive the promised $110 credit to your FACTS account by early May. If your only O'Hara student is a senior, then you will receive a refund check. If you have students in other grades, then the credit will be moved over to the 2019-2020 school year.
