 Cardinal O'Hara High School Fall 2004 Production Charles Dickens' classic gets the full Broadway treatment in Alan Menken's-Lynn Ahrens'-Mike Okrent's adaptation of A Christmas Carol. This is the version that had New Yorkers and tourists alike gasping in wonder and merriment every year as the story unfolded on the stage at Madison Square Garden from 1994 - 2003. Alan Menken (Little Shop Of Horrors, Beauty and The Beast) and Lynn Ahrens (Ragtime The Musical, Once On This Island) have collaborated on a score that is filled with beautiful melody and emotional lyrics. Their song "A Place Called Home" has become a holiday standard. There are many adaptations of A Christmas Carol out there, but only one Broadway version!
