Grade Connect has been updated for all of my SENIOR classes. (Sophomore grades will be posted later this week). Your "actual grade" is your grade for the fourth quarter.
Please review the information on grade connect to make sure it is correct. If there is a mistake or you have a question, please let me know in writing so that I can make any necessary changes.

Parents/Guardians/Students:
Please read the document "Research Paper Expectations." The research paper is the major project of the 4th quarter, and it is essential that your student do well on this project in order to pass the 4th quarter.
IMPORTANT: Zeroes on GradeConnect
posted on: 02/22/10 @ 05:22pm
To clarify the grading policy that has been in effect:
Please note, if there is a zero listed on gradeconnect --
--For a homework grade: the work cannot be made up; late homework will not be accepted.
--For a quiz or test grade: The student never took the quiz/test, or handed in the paper/project. This grade can still made up, but the student must take the initiative to do so (unless the zero was assigned because the student violated the testing procedures or plagiarized).
Parents, guardians, students: please feel free to contact me with any questions about this policy or individual assignments.

Stylebook

Remember: YOU are responsible for the daily entry in your stylebook -- if you miss a day of school, it is your responsibility to copy that day's stylebook/vocab from another student. You will be graded on it when notebooks are collected.
Notebooks Needed:
posted on: 12/30/09 @ 04:58pm
All Track 2 and 3 English students (Pds. 1, 2, 5, and 7) will need a BLANK ONE-SUBJECT notebook for a project that we will start when we return from the Christmas break. This needs to be a full-size, blank notebook used only for this project. Students will continue to use the Literature notebook they have been using all year for their English Notes.
Materials for Classes:
posted on: 09/11/09 @ 05:40am
All Students will need to bring:
1. 2 notebooks - every day
2. Working black or blue pen - every day
3. Vocabulary books - every day
4. Folder - every day
5. Grammar book - Tuesday and Thursday
6. Literature books - every day (Sophomores only)
Students who are unprepared for class will lose participation grade points.
