Merit Scholarships

To apply for a merit scholarship, please submit an application cover sheet (download available on the right side of this page) along with a typed, double-spaced, 250-word essay describing how you have demonstrated excellence in the category for which you are applying. It must be noted that a high level of competition is expected and that criteria must exceed basic things such as “received the highest average” in the subject, or “has taken lessons for three years,” or “attends Mass regularly,” etc. A broad base of activities, awards and involvement will be most compelling.
