We hope you are enjoying the summer.
May I give you a gentle reminder that if you are enrolled in Spanish II, III, or IV, you were given summer "refresher" assignments by you teachers. You do not have to do them now and all at once. Make yourself a regular schedule of 10 to 20 minutes per session to work on your Spanish. By September you will have been expected to know this material so that you can get off to an productive start in your Spanish course.
Students enrolled in Spanish II, tracks 1 and 2: You have a summer reading assignment - "La guitarra misteriosa"
Students enrolled in Spanish II, track 3: Your summer reading asignment is "Esperanza Rising"
Students enrolled in French II, tracks 1 and 2: Your summer reading assignment is "French by Heart".
If you misplaced your assignments or if you are a new student at O'Hara, all summer assignments with links will be posted here during the week of July 7th.
Copies of "Esperanza Rising" and "French by Heart" are available online through BN, Borders. Amazon, etc.
"La guitarra misteriosa" can be purchased in the Studies Office (price = $5.00), if you did not buy it from your teacher at the end of school.
