                                                COURSE PROFILE 2012-13

 

 

Course Objective:

The study and analysis of modern American literature.

 

 

Course Requirements:

Students will be required to bring a notebook and a vocabulary book to class.  Each quarter will have a major written assignment.

 

Assessment Procedures:

All assignments will be point based and include homework, tests, papers, short written assignments.

 

Skills Emphasized:

Reading comprehension, primary source analysis, literature evaluation, writing skills, and vocabulary comprehension

 

Education:

I received a Bachelors Degree in History/English from Villanova University in 2000.

I received a Masters Degree in Secondary Education from Villanova University in 2002.
