Welcome to the Cardinal O'Hara Choir Webpage!

The Cardinal O'Hara Choir brings the message of St. Augustine to life each day-- One who sings, prays twice. All students are welcome to join the choir. Please see the information below about the choir. The choir has many events throughout the year, and you won't want to miss any of them!

-To enroll in either vocal courses for the 2014-2015 academic year, students must go to the academic affairs office to get a course exception sheet. After the form is filled out completely, please submit it to Mr. Braconnier or Mrs. Cratin.

-All choir members are required to attend the weekly afterschool rehearsals held on Tuesdays from 2:35-3:30. If you are unable to attend rehearsal, an email must be sent to Mr. Braconnier. We are currently preparing for the spring concert, ring Mass and graduation.  There is a lot coming coming up and we need all of your voices!

-Choir practice takes place after school on Tuesday this week. Please meet in the theatre at 2:35 for rehearsal.

Class takes place daily during 3rd period. Juniors and Seniors are able to take the course. Each day, students have the opportunity to sing and to study proper vocal technique; in addition, an introduction to music theory is provided. In class, student generated presentations will allow students to express their own creativity and music appreciation. Likewise, students will work collaboratively to prepare for Mass and upcoming events.  All choir class students are required to attend all Masses and afterschool events.

Choir practice takes place every Tuesday from 2:35-3:30 in the Green Room. The choir provides music for all Cardinal O'Hara High School liturgies and other special events.
