 *    What is O’Hara

Cardinal O'Hara High School is a Catholic, co-educational high school rooted in the Gospel values, and committed to developing successful and moral young men and women. As a Catholic school, Cardinal O’Hara challenges its students academically, spiritually and socially. With a broad range of course offerings and activities, as well as a historically strong athletic program, Cardinal O’Hara provides a well-rounded approach to learning and growing. Students at O’Hara are encouraged to explore scholastic and extracurricular pursuits that form the foundation of a strong and unique high school experience, one that will be influential long beyond their graduation.

 

 

What are we known for:

 

      With a long tradition of academic excellence, course offerings at O’Hara represent primarily a college preparatory curriculum.

      Extensive Advanced Placement classes provide students the opportunity to gain college credit.

     

      Along with traditional academic requirements, elective courses are available in a number of different disciplines, including Anatomy and Physiology classes in Science, Social Science in classes in Psychology and Sociology or Technology classes in Film Media Production.

      The school that never sleeps, O’Hara offers over 30 extracurricular clubs, 26 sports and 49 individual teams including international play in “Ultimate”.

 There is a place for everyone at O’Hara.

      In recent years, Cardinal O’Hara instituted and continues to expand participation in the O’Hara Renaissance Program where members of the student body are recognized for academic excellence as well as their efforts to achieve.
